Plain-language notes on what we collect, why we collect it and the choices you always have.
Last updated: January 2026. Quillstead Keynotes (“we”) runs this website, the Saturday essay newsletter and event booking enquiries. This policy explains what information we collect and how it is used.
Information you share with us
- Newsletter signup: your email address, used only to send the Saturday essay and occasional announcements.
- Booking and kit enquiries: your name, email, event details and message, used to respond and prepare a quote.
Information collected automatically
We use basic, privacy-respecting analytics that count visits without identifying you personally. No advertising trackers are installed on this site.
How we use information
- To send the newsletter you subscribed to — and nothing else, unless you ask.
- To answer enquiries and arrange keynotes, workshops and book orders.
- To improve the site based on aggregate, anonymous usage patterns.
Unsubscribing
Every newsletter issue includes an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately. You can also write to us at any time and we will remove your address.
Sharing and retention
We never sell personal information. Enquiry records are kept only as long as needed to serve you, and newsletter data is deleted when you unsubscribe.
